DESCRIPTION:Dear UBO friend\,\n\nWe would like to invite you to the opening of the very first UBO Expo. The ‘Unidentified Beautiful Ob(sub)jects’ presented here are the treasures of Amsterdam Noord. With this exhibition\, Michèle Bergsma wants to generate rights for the forgotten object in collaboration with the Parliament of Things. From the 21st of May till July\, there will be the possibility to exhibit your UBO. (Contact ubo@mail.com for more information.)\n\n“I see things laying around on the street. To who do they belong? Can I take them home? All one of a kinds\, marked by the city. I merely serve as the humble collector of these drifters\, just an instant in their existence. Will I be able to capture their indescribable grace?”\n\n* The UBO archive consists so far out of The Hague\, Amsterdam and Rotterdam. DESCRIPTION:04 OCT\, 19:30 – 22:00 NDSM WERF. With Joep Van Lieshout\, Melanie Bonajo\, Middas Dekkers and FREE dinner at 18:00\n\n\n\nFerrotopia Evening Expeditions\nFerrotopia is an art installation at the Amsterdam NDSM shipyard\, a ‘gesamtskunstwerk’ and pop-up museum in one. The art installation of Atelier van Lieshout is an ode to iron (ferro = iron) and consists of a collection of characteristic buildings grouped around a central square.\nFollowing the principle of head\, heart and hands\, programme-makers Joost Janmaat (Partizan Publik) and Rieke Vos (Stichting NDSM-werf) take their audiences on an expedition into the world of iron. Concrete presentations will accompany expeditions\, tasting sessions\, music\, poetry and other arts. \nDate: 4 October\, 18:00\, 19:30-22:00\nPrice: €5\,- / Passe-partout for 5 lectures €20\,-\n\nTickets are available here \n4 October Domestikator: an evening about bestiality\nCentral element of the Ferrotopia art installation is the Domestikator. This is the totem\, the landmark\, of the building and symbolizes the domination of homo sapiens over other animal species on the earth. This evening is about how people and animals live together in a world that is shaped by agricultural\, industrial and digital revolutions. To what extent are animals just animals and humans just animals?
